Active Lure Fishing
Speed Jigging and Popping & Topwater: cast, jig and work the lure for direct takes and hard fights.

Satara Fishing — Morocco

For experienced saltwater anglers
A private fishing charter run by anglers — a clear plan, precise boat work and no tourist routine.
Satara fishes four grounds between Rabat, Bouznika and the Strait of Gibraltar. Weather, tide, current and fish activity decide the mark and method — never a rigid species programme.
The programme runs from active lure fishing with Speed Jigging and Popping & Topwater, through technical coastal fishing for meagre and sea bass, to Slow Jigging on structure and Billfishing by Bait-and-Switch. We position the boat; you cast, jig, work the lure and fight the fish.
Tackle — bring your own setup, or use ours. Charter rates cover the boat, crew and fuel; tackle is quoted separately. Popping, Speed Jigging, Slow Jigging and Billfishing Bait-and-Switch outfits are available aboard.
Fishing styles & techniques
The permanent offer is organised by how we fish. Targets and seasons show what is realistically available on each ground.
Action & offshore

Learn moreDiving minnows pulled along the coast — bluefish, leerfish and bass on the hunt.

Captain — pioneer of Moroccan sport fishing, pro surfer, surf coach and owner at La Crique Surfcamps and Surfshop
A pioneer of sport fishing and surfing in Morocco, Hassan is a complete waterman: he fished and surfed seas around the globe before returning to run Satara on his native coast. Founder and CEO of La Crique Surfshop, he reads the ocean like no one else — swell, currents, feeding frenzies — and turns every trip into a lesson in seamanship.
